Pairi Daiza is a privately owned zoo and botanical garden located in Brugelette in the province of Hainaut, Belgium.

The 65-hectare (160-acre) large animal theme park is located on the site of the former Cistercian Cambron Abbey, and is home to over 7,000 animals. The name is taken from the Avestan word pairi daēza, which is the source of the Persian word paradise. The zoo created a series of suspension bridges in 2004 that let visitors see the exhibits from above.

Pairi Daiza it’s a member of the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria and participates in the European Endangered Species Programme.

The Antwerp Zoo (in Dutch: Zoo Antwerpen) is a Belgian Flemish zoological park located in the station district of the city of Antwerp. It is the property of the Royal Society of Zoology of Antwerp (nl), which administers, in the same way as the Planckendael park.

Founded on July 21, 1843, it is the oldest animal park in the country.

A permanent member of the European Association of Zoos and Aquariums, he is involved in ex situ conservation by participating in European programs for endangered species of which he coordinates six. In 2014, the park welcomed 900,000 visitors.

Walibi Belgium, formerly Walibi Wavre and then Six Flags Belgium, is a Belgian theme park located in Wavre, close to Brussels. During the 1998 to 2004 period, it was owned by Six Flags, Inc, an American theme park operator. It was later sold to Palamon Capital Partners. As of 2006, the park is owned and operated, along with Paris' Parc Astérix, by CDA Parks (a division of Compagnie des Alpes).

The Walibi name comes from the mix of Wavre, Limal and Bierges, three towns in the Belgian province of Walloon Brabant, where the park is situated.

Mini-Europe is a miniature park located in Bruparck, at the foot of the Atomium, in Brussels, Belgium. Mini-Europe has reproductions of monuments in the European Union on display, at a scale of 1:25. Roughly 80 cities and 350 buildings are represented. Mini-Europe receives 350,000 visitors per year and has a turnover of €4 million.

The park contains live action models such as trains, mills, an erupting Mount Vesuvius, and cable cars. A guide gives the details on all the monuments. At the end of the visit, the Spirit of Europe exhibition gives an interactive overview of the European Union in the form of multimedia games.

The park is built on an area of 24,000 m2 (300,000 sq ft). The initial investment was of €10 million in 1989, on its inauguration by the Prince Philip of Belgium.

Aventure Parc is a leisure park founded in 2004 in Wavre and offering outdoor sports activities.

There we can find 24 courses and 240 games in the trees: Tarzan jumps, giant steps, surfing, tobogganing, mountain biking and also 45 zip lines with a total length of 2, 5 km! All of this is secured by a continuous lifeline with no time limit.

There is also a 320m-long turning zipline, unique in the Benelux countries, 5 JUMPS to get high, including a bungee jump or a giant catapult that propels you 17 meters high and an interactive laser game to conquer the fortress of Beumont!

The Wild World of Aywaille is a safari park founded in 1973. Located 25 km from Liège, it now has more than 1000 animals from 5 continents spread over 84 hectares. Completely unique on Belgian territory, the safari park allows you to immerse yourself in the intimacy of the animals which evolve in semi-freedom. The different routes are laid out over 16 km of paths.

In addition to a motorized safari, the animal park has walking trails that allow you to admire many animals in aviaries, swimming pools or artificial islands. Shows are organized every day to satisfy the curiosity of young and old.

The animal park has 273 different animal species. These are spread over the safari or hiking areas.
