We are facing a period of the year when people travel a lot. Since most of the European countries are currently having a very high number of infections with Covid 19, strict measures in the context of travelling are also imposed. Read further to be aware
To do first:
- Check the colour code of the country you were in https://www.info-coronavirus.be/en/colour-codes-by-country/.
- Check which COVID certificate you have. There are three types of certificates:
A vaccination certificate proves that you have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. You are fully vaccinated 2 weeks after your last vaccination dose and if the vaccine is EMA-certified.
A recovery certificate shows that you have recovered from COVID-19. You have a positive PCR test result no older than 180 days and you no longer need to quarantine.
A test certificate is proof of a negative PCR test (not older than 72 hours) or a negative antigen test (RAT) (not older than 48 hours).
- You have to fill in the Passenger Location Form (PLF) https://travel.info-coronavirus.be/public-health-passenger-locator-form within 6 months before your arrival in Belgium, even if you are fully vaccinated.
