Are you leaving to abroad?
Travelling to foreign countries is not recommended and it is only allowed to cross the Belgian borders for an essential reason proven by a ‘sworn statement’. Consider very well if your trip is absolutely necessary because, in case that you are leaving to a red zone, at the moment of return you will be obligated to go into quarantine for at least 7 days. In case the country/region you are going to has a red code, after your return you go to quarantine and you will lose your right for unemployment benefits. This means that you will stay without income for that period of at least 7 days.
If you are still forced to travel, we advise you to check the measures applied in the country where you are going to before you leave.
